New Jersey-based cover band Rock Bottom plays it all: rock, of course; and also Motown, disco, vintage pop and current Top 40 hits. Whether they’re performing AC/DC’s “TNT,” Aretha’s “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.,” or Pitbull’s “Fireball,” this band knows how to give the people what they want.
Lead singer Rich Villalva leads the crowd in sing-alongs to “Sweet Caroline” and “Living on A Prayer,” dons a pair of sunglasses and does his best Prince impression for “Purple Rain,” and brings down the house by literally dropping to his knees in the middle of the dance floor while singing “SOB.”
Rock Bottom is booked regularly in venues all over the Jersey Shore, and also performs at private gigs such as weddings, birthday parties and corporate events. They are a completely self-contained act made up of five talented musicians: Mike Molinari on drums, Rob Lyon on bass, Marc Coccio on guitars and synth, Rich Villalva and Rosie DiOr on vocals. They are consummate professionals who are always happy to expand their repertoire at a client’s request.
